The blue events barn is easily accessible through the sliding doors right in front. You can easily back a vehicle up during the day right to the doors to unload, and carts are fairly easily rolled along the floor to the location where you will set up equipment. Ceremonies and cocktail hour are usually held on the back patio, and then dinner service and receptions are held indoors.
The green room location is not always heated, so you will need to dress warm if the event is during the winter months. It’s located just down the short hill from the barn, and is a little bit of a walk away from the barn. It’s not super convenient, but it’s spacious. You will generally need to park your vehicle down by the arena after you’ve finished loading in your equipment. Load-out is fairly nice, and you won’t feel super rushed, although there will need to be someone from the venue onsite until you’ve finished so they can lock up, however, generally the venue staff is very nice and accommodating and won’t make you feel like you need to go any faster than you’re going.
You should bring something to eat with you, as there are not any close food options in the area. You are going to be at least 30 minutes from anywhere that you can buy food.
When you are driving up to the venue, be cautious of the speed limits as they are not very fast. 25 MPH is the average speed limit, and even less once you pass the guard gate. Please be conscious of this because there is a lot of wildlife in the area and the goal is to be safe and to not hurt or kill any wildlife while you’re on the premises.
